About Damsel

The UWA Women’s Department's Damsel Magazine is the only magazine on campus created by women and nonbinary contributors.

Damsel Magazine aims to share, inspire, give a voice to, and be a voice for, women and nonbinary students from every facet of life, through our online and print publications.

We are seeking content from women and nonbinary students from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and identities.

We are accepting a wide range of content: articles, reviews, opinion pieces, poetry, visual art, photography, music, videos, comics, and so much more!

Damsel and the UWA Women's Department acknowledges the Whadjuk Noongar people who are the original custodians of the land we work, learn, and create on.

We pay respects to elders past, present, and emerging.

We recognise the role of Whadjuk Noongar women and nonbinary people as the original storytellers of this country, and their continual influence and importance within feminist literature, thought, and storytelling.
